I was wondering if anyone knew a link or website that had all the correct highway codes for passing a test. Like how to enter and exit roundabouts, u-turn and emergency stops.

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

Best bet is to get a CD-ROM of the DSA theory test. It has the full Highway code in it but also has masses of practice tests, that look exactly like the real one and also has the same questions in it.

I got one that also had a hazard perception CD too.

Got mine on amazon but you can get them at WH Smiths and other places.

Alternatively go to www.dsa.gov.uk

Do you plan to have any lessons before your test ?
Have you done your CBT yet ?

Your instructor will tell you everything that you need to know.
I got a DSA book a couple of years ago which told you what was needed to pass your test but it never said anything that I didn't know already.

I have had about 16 hours training plus a CBT. Failed twice so far *sigh* due to stupid mistakes like staying the right hand lane on a dual which is utter bs for a serious mistake but anyway, it is the practical test just to let you know Smile .

I have forgetton some of it because my test was a month ago Embarassed . But hey, every biker loses his test grade lifesavers apart from instructors of course Laughing

I had that book as well! Didn't really tell me too much about road craft though due to years of car driving.

I think a quick look through the Highway Code would be a good idea as well, you will read something new each time! Best be read up to the max rather than assuming you have it all sorted.

[pedantic mode on]

Err, I haven't, I even use them in the car more than I used to before i did my test, that's why they're life savers, so I don't kill myself or another biker while I'm in my cage.

As for staying in the outside lane on a dual, that's poor lane management and shouldn't be done in a car, let alone a bike.

[/pedantic mode off]

Good luck on the third attempt though. Thumbs Up
