Aprilia RS 250 1998 old shape track bike

Hi all, ive got a track bike for sale but also need some advice please,

UK Aprilia RS 250 track bike for sale, early 1998 old shape (frame number checked by phoning Komodo aprilia dealer in Wales), it was brought from a shop called Rhencullen Motorcycles in Hinckley about 8 months ago by me and used at Mallory for practice days.

Bike is a perfect start bike/ project, as the engine has not been tuned, the bike has race fairing, new screen, new grips, adjustable steering dampener, arrows race exhausts, suspension has been re-valved front/back for track use, front steering tube stand and rear paddock stand, swing-arm metal crash bobbins and fairing crash bobbins, £100 race filler cap (really hard to find lol), new foot-pegs. kick start is still on and is a good runner.

Other info is the bike is running without an air filter (which is supplied as unused still in pack), the bike has been stripped of coolant filler tank, and pre mix is used instead of the injectors the oil I used for the bike was putoline rs959 (if thats right) basically their best 2 stoke oil at around £13 a litre, bike has no speedo only a rev counter, and choke is still there for use but not on handle bar, the bike also has the short ngk plugs.

Reason for sale is I enjoy racing bikes and I came from motocross to the track, I really enjoy it but costs for racing and getting it race speed is too much for me at the moment, so I am going back to motocross, it’s a shame as I really like the bike but no way can afford both for awhile anyway, I’m keeping my kit for the future though.

does the bike have a v5 ?

unfortunately not mate it will need reregistering for the road i didnt get much with it when i brought it, it was brought from Rhencullen Motorcycles in Hinckley all it came with was a stand lol.
