Hey,
A funny thing happened to me this week. Last Friday night me pride and joy got nicked from right outside my front door. I wasn’t impressed running up and down my street in the wife’s ‘winnie the pooh’ dressing gown and a bobble hat (it was cold), with no sign of my bike in sight. I had a miserable weekend. Then to my joy the bike shop called up on Monday saying its been spotted less then a mile away from me house. Further joy when it was returned with not too much damage.

It was quite a traumatic experience, but it turned out not too bad in the end, anyone else suffered anything similar?

I hate thieves with a passion. If you can't afford it, you can't have it! Simple as that. I don't understand their philosophy of 'If I can't afford it, I'll take someone elses'.

Good to hear you got it back! Thumbs Up

I was very lucky indeed, when I first realised it was gone, I though it was a pro job into the back of a van (was only 3 months old and still sparkly). I didn’t think most people would get past the disk lock and fat oxford chain at the back. But considering where it was found I assuming it was kids, glad it wasn't torched tho!!

tbh, disc locks aint much of a borther, a pro job is in and out like the wind mate, before you have even put the kettle on there gone, back of the lorry thank you very much, 800 pound. a few tips just incase they come back.

Ross's Top Tip's

1) put a cover over it.
2) make sure you have locked the bike up
3) stick a few stickys up, saying beaware of the dogs.
4) try and get an auto light that comes on when it sees someone moving.
