Hey.
Same thing happened to my RS a few days ago, also made a squeaky noise when the speedo died, but went after a short while. Took the cable off and twiddled it round and that was fine. Called Speedaway Motorcycles and ordered a replacement. Cost £39ish including vat and delivery, came within two days. Just fitted the drive today and it wasnt that hard. Simply take the wheel off, replace the drive and bolt it back together. Didnt take too long and I managed with a friend and we're both rather mechanically illiterate.
Worst part is parting with £40 for something so small. ____________________ Aprilia RSV Mille R Edwards Replica - Aprilia RS250 - Suzuki GSXR600 Supersport Race Bike |
