Twoway Radios & fitting Aerils on Bikes

I have a Honda Pan 1300a, I am looking for information how to fit an external aerial on the bike, and the best position for the radio it’s self to be located to reduce interference to both the radio & the bikes electronic systems

In a pannier or top box is the best place really, but the difference between there and a tank bag is negliable... propperly fitted into a pannier or top box will not only be more convinient but least likely to pick up interfeerance from spark plugs/ignition system e.t.c.

Depending on your radio set you can get standard coax aerials that plug into the top of the radio, via an extension if you need to (but idealy not)

Try sonic communications, they supply the army, police and all sorts, i'm sure they will do what your looking for, i'd be supprised if they dont have a kit for the st, seeing as they fit them out for the police
