is it safe to slide a piece of steel rod through the front axle and then use a rear paddock stand to lift the front of the bike while it is already on another paddock stand at the rear of the bike? I just want to be able to thoroughly scrub the front rim and check for any nicks or marks on the front tyre. will the bike slip off as I go to raise the front wheel? ____________________ Those bloody footpegs......they ought to do away with em! |

What size bikes are paddock stands normally suitable for? I suppose they must be adjustable, but would something which would take a 125 also take a 600? The forks and swingarm can't be that different in position can they? ____________________ I must not be a troll...
