I have looked over some of the posts on here where people suggest rides out and I havent seen any for up here in the north.

Having just past my test recently I would like to get out some and hopefully meet some of you folk on here, but places Like London, Reading, cardiff and such are just to far away.

Any chance of arranging a run up this way sometime. We have some great roads to open up on. Cool

Depends where you mean on the north east coast!?

There are people from darlington, billingham and middlesbrough I believe on the forum.

I myself hail from hartlepool and go back every few weeks, though rarely on the bike.

I'm in York and travel up to Boro weekly to train, however its a wee bit to chilly and miserable to take the bike at the mo, never mind the fact it has a great big dirty L on the front and back! I'd never keep up...NExt year tho!

I dont care about the weather to much apart from the wind. I'm not comfortable yet riding in the wind. Only passed my test a few weeks ago so just getting used to the roads around here.

I dont care if someone has L plates on as at least I should be able to keep up with them Laughing Not to good on getting the speed up yet Laughing

So if anyone wants to go out for a ride sometime give us a shout. Need all the practise i can get lol. Also would like to meet up with others from here.

Yep, like me! Very Happy (Norton)

I'll be up for a ride as soon as I get a 500 and the nice weather arrives. Dont think winter is the best of times to arrange ride out by the sea. Laughing

Could always wait til spring, get a whole bunch of the north-east members and have a huge get together / ride, would be pretty good. Smile

Well my poor bike is getting lonesome tucked away in its hidy hole, though i have to say it looks more like a dirt bike than a ER5 after getting it put in there just before Christmas. Had to ride it over my back garden and its a bog to say the least. I did try to get it back out again but no luck, will have to wait for the garden to harden up a tad I think. Either than or get some slabs. I move south towards Nottingham soon but if the weather inproves I will be up for a ride out before I go.

I'm from Newcastle, I'm always game to go on a ride-out - PM me and we'll go out.

Tim

Oh and hello Rob. Sold your bike yet? Decided what you're getting?
