I bought some carb cleaner, which i thougth was petrol. Then realised when i put it in my bike it was for diesel engies. Confused

I wasn't paying much attention at the time. Embarassed

I have used the bike twice and it doesn't seem to have affected it. Could it actually do any damage?

The instructions on the back are for a full tank of diesel in a car - 50 litres, so you should have put in the right amount in for the size of your tank - probably about 12 litres?

I say drain it and start again, even of you put a full amount of petrol redex in it buggers up the engine, or you could run it for a bit and see what happens

It doesn't say anything about tank sizes. I admit i was stupid for not reading propely. I think i will leave it unless the engine could blow Shocked

I think i made the mistake because i was buying oil and there was sooooooo many different types and the same with the cleaners.

Get rid a.s.a.p if you put the whole lot in...best to be safe in my opinion. Give it a ride out on a fresh tank of your usual fuel before you try again. It may help to dilute any left in the pipes etc.
