Hmmm, sounds odd. Start bike with clutch in, and then let clutch out slowly, with no throttle until you hear a click or a clunk(i hope you should) then pull clutch in and you could be able to move down a gear. Repeat as necessary until down to 1st.

Could it to be with the drop? Might of damaged the gearbox, it was on that side and you said you snapped the lever?

Do this with your foot on the gear shifter pressing down

then see if theres a "clunk"

That done the trick on my test sr125 Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

With only 6th gear I'm amazed that you can take off at all. It must be a pain at intersections. Whatever the problem I hope it's nothing major.

It doesn't do anything to the gears. Sounds like a more serious problem than any switch. Thumbs Down

Have you tried being quite aggressive and slamming it down a gear, it's f*cked at the moment so you can't do much more damage?

na mate it jus hits a limit where summin stops it goin down, feels like the most extream it can go

feels like theres no gears in the box so my dad rekons its could be a screw or lever inside so wen the lever is pressed it doesnt pull on ne thing to actually do the gear
