i was looking around my nsr125 for some info but couldn't find and plate or nothing with model/serial number etc. the only thing i found was a printed sticker on the frame under the seat, what im actually looking for is the EXCACT model number to determine whether my bike is restricted through the CDi or not. the sticker under the seat only had "NSR125R 1" then underneith the paint colour code. is it true the NSR's with restricted CDi are models with RR (two R's) on them, i can only see one R on mine, os there anywhere esle i can look to find a model number?

i really hope the CDi isn't restricted, is there anyway of finding out if it is or not just by doing some tests or looking somewhere?

thanks Thumbs Up

If it is a UK bike it will not be restricted via the CDI, the V5 will tell you if it is an import, but seeing as it is an NSR125R then I shouldn't think it is one.

The frame number is on the right of the steering head, and the engine number is stamped on the same side but on the bottom side of the crankcase. These are also on the V5. Somewhere like david silver spares would be able to tell you if that is a UK bike or an import from the frame and engine number.

Hi

With NSR125RR the second R refers to the model year (standard Honda system), not the market it was designed for or if it is restricted.

If a bike is a 2nd hand import then it will mention it on the registration document. If it was imported new (so that it was first registered in the UK) then I do not think the registration document will mention it.

All the best

Keith
