Hi im currenty riding a gilera dna 125 for the winter to work etc but have notcied the bike struggles to pick up speed,it seem to only rev to 8,000 revs and struggles to hit 60mph unless i have wind behind me lol...is there anyway i can make it faster,i thought they were ment to do 70mph top speed.

He is giving you a helpful answer.

Be grateful you've got a bike, and if your riding a DNA I presume you're not holding the right kind of license to be doing 70mph most of the time anyway.

you are not going to get much more speed out of a 125 single 4 stroke moped...
I suppose you could put performance variator and CVT on it. but as for race pipes. They bearly make a difference on the small 4 strokes.

If it wa s a 2stroke, then that would be a different story. Then you can buy tuned expansion chambers etc...

Did you manage to fix your bike in the end then brett?

Im sorry mate 60mph is all you will get really, its a shame they didnt put the piaggio zip 125 2stroke engine in, then you could derestrict it and go 80mph plus...
