The old bike finally gave out with both seals going, really not worth reparing (quoted 110!).

I tried to cancel my insurance but they said I couldnt or if I did I wouldn't get any money back because I'd done 8months of a 12 month contract. Is this true?

Anyone got a cheap courier bike sitting in the garage getting dusty?

In your policy documentation there should be a scale of how much refund you get after each month - usually you get zero refund after ten months, possibly not worth cancelling after 8, better to let it run and get the no claims bonus.
