Intend buying a new GSX-R600 which I find very interesting from reviews read.
1. What should I plan for
2. what are the common problems it has over time
3. Any good source to buy from
4. What add on made good sense.

I have over 10 years of bike experience but this is the first time I am buying new.

Hi - I bought a new K4 GSXR 600 - £5499 from Daytona (off Kings Cross - pentonville road) a few weeks ago. The price included a set of R&G crash protectors and some carbon. The guy there is really friendly and aftersales has been ace.

Take one for a test ride and then prepare to hand over the money as it's a truly awesome 600!

As I've only had it for a short time, I can't comment on long term problems etc.

I also believe Rex Judd in Edgware are doing these for the same price. Both bikes are official UK.

The only negative bit of the bike is the exhaust, but that would be the same for every new stock bike I'd buy. I chose to make that the first addon by adding a road legal Yoshimura.

Now you just have to choose what colour you want Very Happy
