Depends what you want it for. Town riding and reliability then the CBR, if you want a bit of umpf then its the NSR. Depends on what you like.

I had a cbr125 when I was learning and it was great until it got to the speed issue, but it did 75-80 so that was enough at the time.

Judging purely on the profile and the question, the NSR.

125's are not loud! 2 strokes mainly sound like bees in tins. 4 strokes sound a bit better but no-where near loud.

You missed out RS125 off the list. Razz

Since thats not on there, I voted the NSR. I have an RS125 and its a great bike, if its taken care of that is, had no problems with mine and its been owned for about 7 month now. People will say 'Dont get an RS because they're unreliable and seize a lot' but they're wrong. They only seize if you dont take care of it.

An NSR is the same. Slightly down on power compared to other 125 sports bikes but it still needs the same care and attention as others. Using high quality 2 stroke oil and warming it up for starters will prolong the life considerably.

The CBR itself isnt that bad, its just not best suited for tall people (6 foot +) as its very short and skinny. Very reliable machine but if your wanting something fast, go for a 2 stroke. CBR will be good for about ~75mph whereas the NSR and RS will be a good 20mph faster with a halved 0-60 time.

Also take the insurance into consideration. Not sure what group the CBR is in, but the RS is in group 8 and sometimes not that expensive to insure. (Cost me £650 third party only with 1 years NCB! Rolling Eyes )

You need to say what you plan to do with the bike first. If its just for fast fun, go for the 2 stroke. Thumbs Up
