Yamaha RXS100 Low miles, ?450.

Selling my L reg RXS100.

Had a full rebuild a few months ago, done 500 miles since running it in below 5k on silkolene comp 2 injector (good oil). Now runs as smooth as a 10 year old !

In tidy condition, chrome looks nice, had a couple of knocks but nothing serious, has 6 months MOT left and 6 months tax.

Looking for £450 ONO, live In loughborough, can deliver within about 30 miles or pickup only over that.

What kind of paperwork needs to be done after a rebuild? Has it all been done? It's a 2t isn't it? Tempted.

Electric start or kick start? Very tempted. Got cash waiting for a bigger bike, might settle for this for a while.

Kick-start only. What do you mean by paperwork? Yes it's a 2T, used all original Yamaha parts, cost £90 for parts and about £40 for the rebore. Mudguard is a little mis shapen, small dent in tank but not really noticable, crack in indicator, but mechanically fine !

Never mind about the paper work stuff.

Is it possible to fit an electric starter to a bike like that? How does it compare performance wise to a 2t/4t 125cc? Is the bike ready to be picked up? Any chance of you sending me your post code via PM so I can get a route plan to your area? Just want an idea of how long it will take.

Got a feeling it'll be a 5 hour round trip, no easy roads between me and you.

No you probably couldnt fit a electric start, not for under a grand or something ! Compared to a 4T 125 (CG etc) it would totally smoke them ! (Literally!). Top end at 72mph. Compared to a sports 2T125, it would keep up to about 30, but not after that. But it isnt built as a sports bike! Bikes ready yeah, got all documents, ready to ride off !
