Hi,

My cat B NSR's been sitting in my back yard for nearly a year now. I meant to strip it and sell it for parts but I've just not had the time or knowhow. Does anyone know of any scrap/parts dealers that would come and buy it off me?

Of course I'm not expecting a huge amount of money but it's an 04 reg, the engine is in very good nick and 90% of the bike is fine so I'd want a fair valuation at the very least. If someone could recommend one that would come pick it up, and possibly they've had some positive experience with, I'd be grateful.

I'm based near Kingston, South East London outskirts.

(of course if anyone wants to come look and buy it themselves to strip and sell they're more than welcome, but I'm aware this isn't the advertising forum!)

Didn't you ask before?
If so/not, my answer would have been to stick it on ebay, then advertise around a few common bike forums/common for sale places.
Might be surprised how much you get for it, especially in comparison to what a breaker is likely to offer.

I may have done, I can't remember. You've got a better memory than me! In any case I decided to strip and sell parts myself, but I've now changed my mind.

Either way thanks for the advice. I just wanted rid of it so was thinking breaker for no hassle but selling to someone who could use it would be far preferable and probably no more hassle.

phk6 I'll bear that offer in mind in all seriousness. If it's genuine of course?
