Hi,
Went and viewed a bike today.

GSXR750 frame,
GSX600 engine,
Racing rear,
Streetfighter headlight,
Increased fueltank,
Renegade exhaust,
Cool paint job,
Generaly looking very clean.

And all this for £750

Is this too good to be true? and is insurance even possible with something like this for riding 2 years.

Cheers

Jan

Hmmmm, so its got a Shite engine in a sports bike frame?

Sounds like a total mish-mash of parts to me, and not worth £500 never mind £750.

True but I'm still restricted so can't go wild on the whole bhp thing.
Only be using it for commuting and the odd motorway jaunt, just thought since my old bros cost me 700 quid and this is more powerfull, newer and generally prettier.

Cheers

Sounds like it wasn't just slightly crashed and/or stolen/siezed.

It sounds like you shouldn't touch it with a bargepole.
Did you question why that engine was in that frame? and why it was streetfightered in the first place?

Sounds like someone's trying to cover a crash to me.

Note frame and engine numbers won't match either, for when it comes to insurance/V5.

Does look like a slight mismatch of parts, and not an amazing selection of parts anyway so lat a guess it's been crashed (badly) and got back on the road as cheap as possible so they can flog it. I'd try and get a slightly more standard bike.

Agree with the above, not only should you not touch it with a barge pole but neither will an insurance company, they will refuse to quote you on a modified bike then referr you to a specialist company that thinks of a phone number and multiplies it by three to get your quote.

don't touch it mate.

if it had been fightered by someone who knew what they were doing , it wouldn't be like that !

plus you'll have a load of problems when you try to sell it on!!

Even streetfighters should have a engine and frame to match. Stay clear dude.
