You're allowed to have your visor tinted to a certain degree. It's got to let something like 75% of light through. Best to be safe and have a clear one, suprise suprise it lets you see everything aswell.

DT125s look great, are fairly cheap, quite fast and shouldn't be too unreliable if looked after. Rift. has got a lovely example that he's currently supermoto'ing.

Look in biketrader, loot and ebay. I've had one bike from loot.com and one from ebay so far.

Well if your getting a motorcross bike, you'll want a motox helmet, and you'll be needing motox goggles, which can as far as i know, be 99% tinted if you feel like it! (exagerateing a bit, but theres no restriction on the tint)

As for what bike, depends if your actually going to be takeing it off road and what else you will be useing it for, how much money you have for it e.t.c.

Dispite what you may read theres no shame, scooters are still bikes, if it gets you from a-b and you enjoy it feck what anyone else thinks! Thumbs Up Wink

edit: is there? my bad, probably that its just allot higher level of tint, more tint than you'd want to ride with i'd imagine...

No, there are regulations on the tinting of goggles. (You're allowed to wear dark sunglasses underneath either though).

I can't remember the regs off hand though.

Yeah, I think this is the case.

However, it's illegal to ride with sunglasses with your visor up unless they're BS certified as eye protection (which they aren't) but strangely it is legal to ride with your visor up with no eye protection.
