Grippier than an 010
Not as grippy as an 012
Good for a road tyre though, they work well in the wet. ____________________ 3516 Miles, 11 Countries |

Had a set of these for a good few months. I had an avon on the rear before that and it was dogshyte so was time for a change.
Scrubbed in very easily and in a fraction of the distance reccomended. As a pair theyve never given me a single moment of fear. Ive got full confidence in them both in the wet and the dry.
I would say go for it!!

Thanks for the replies.
I've almost completely scrubbed in the tyre...and yes there are big chicken strips, but I live in London so I'm allowed.
Anyway, these tyres are bloody amazing! I've never had such confidence in my tyres and the bike's handling is so much better with them.

The 014's are the replacement for the 010's.
I always used to use 010's. Loved 'em, but now they are discontinued I had a pair of 014's fitted a couple of weeks ago.
Weather has been fairly shite since having them fitted so haven't really had a chance to 'feel' them properly, but they seem to be fairly similar to the 010's. Apparantly they hold/regain their shape better on cornering so give better grip. Allegedly!
I paid £211 for the pair fitted at FWR in Kennington.
I thought they were the 'stickiest' road (ignoring their track range) tyre Bridgestone made? I thought the 012 was more of a touring tyre and the 002 was the sticky track tyre. ____________________ Love is 1050cc |
