i've booked my test but need lessons to learn the specifics of the bike test. i dont want to do 2 day courses, which is the minimum i can find.

is there a 1 day lesson or something along those lines that anyone else has done?

cheers.

Hmm, I only had 2 'proper' lessons. One the day before my test and the next imediately before. However, I had been riding for over a year before I took my test. This meant I had many hours of practice under my belt and all the lessons were for was to iron out the bad habits I had got into. It all depends how fast you learn, could take 2 hours, could take 12.

How long have you been riding?
Have you ridden a bike on the road before?
What type of test are you takng?

From personal experence it took me a day of CBT and 4 days of riding a ER-5 till i felt confident i could pass my test! that was from never riding a proper bike before.
Even then i failed the test. Embarassed
takes different amounts of time for everyone but make sure you confident on the bike.

i've done motocross since i was 14 (i'm now 18)
passed driving test nearly a year ago
done CBT
been riding unrestricted rs125 since october

i'm doing the A2 test in three weeks (hoping to get a 400), i am a confident rider and think a 2 day course is too long. all the training schools i have phoned dont do anything less.

can you get lessons like with the car which were 1 hour or even 1 full day just so i know what the examiner is expecting.

cheers.

Had a total of 6 - 7 hours of DAS but had two years on a CBT and passed first time... But everyone is different. Everyone learns at different paces. Thumbs Up
