Laughing

Theres a few people who know much more about scooters than me. But im learning Cool

After 4 rebuilds, and zero gearbox rebuilds. I seem to know more about the piston/cylender side of the engine rather than the gearing.
I can get a clutch off using a chain wrench (thing you use to get oil filter off a car) but I cannot split the Clutch to get the CVT seperate from the clutch shoes. Thinking

So if anybody can tell me of a "Bodge tool" rather than having to buy a special tool. Then Please do.

Im not that far advance yet, so sorry i cant help. Still learning of you. What do you recommend grease wise for the variator rollers. The cureent grease in mine is black and looks dirty and might be good idea to change. I have been told to try lithium grease (White) whats your opinion? Question

Clean all the grease out and run it "dry", they don't really need greasing.

Peugeot's seem to be the only manufacturer still greasing the rollers, but they don't need it, when I derestrict them I usually just wipe them dry, remove the o-ring and grease cover and re-fit. Same with all the aftermarket products, all dry.

Hope this helps, Kyle

Sorry for my Ignorance but I beleive the O-ring to be the rubber seal that goes around the variator. Does this need to be replaced each time it is opened and what is its importance. Will I have any problems by not replacing it. Confused

Chuck the o-ring if you're running it dry, makes no difference
