Just Bought myself a VFR800FiX. I'm new to riding just passed my test 4 months ago. 1st sat on a bike 6 months ago for a taster lesson and got hooked. (Sad for a 48 yr old!). A friend lent me his BMW K100RS which I have been riding until now, until I found something I liked and fell in love with this VFR, even although it is white, and bought it today.
Is there anything I should be doing regularly to look after it apart from the usual services?
It needs heated grips - I got used the BMW's. Should I go for the Honda ones or are there better ones on the market?
