Practial test can be booked ip to a week in advance as there's lots of vaccant slots - best advice is to make sure you have a theory certificate in hand beforehand!

Prices vary depending on training school, your own personal riding experience and just how quickly you can adapt to riding. Seeing that you ride a ped, i assume you're not over 21 yet, so you'll be doing the restricted A2 License which entitles you to ride any bike up to 33bhp. Otherwise blow your money on a DAS if you're over 21 - DAS is far MORE expensive - 500 quid for a week compared to about 300 quid for a few days on a restricted course - much cheaper if you have your own bike. Btw, how long have you been riding and what style of riding do you do- which environments have you ridden in and would you consider yourself a capable, observant rider. Sorry to sound judgemental, but ask yourselves these questions, then think about how many days training you decide to do. Some training schools throw in a free assessment to see how many days are necessary for you to satisfactorily pass (or they pay for your second exam or something like that)

Hi.

A lot depends on where you do it. Private companies may charge anything over £300ish for so many hours training and possibly bike hire.

I done my training with a council funded scheme so it was very cheap, only £100 for 5x3 hour lessons and bike hire.

Best off phoning round local training schools. Thumbs Up
