I had my crank case off today to check on the belt and rollers and I noticed at the end of my variator there is a white plastic kind of plate which has a crack in it. Obviously the crack isn't supposed to be there, I just woundered what this plate does and would the crack affect it in anyway?

Here's a link where I think you'll find replacement parts, etc and help guides on variators, etc.

Please dont take my word for gospel, but is that a restrictor on your variator. Do you have 50cc Scooter? I have just removed my variator for a speedfight and on the variator I cant remeber seeing a plastric part. Although I do have a 100cc and this would not have a restrictor. I am new to scootering but this would be my guess. May be somebody with more knowledge may have the answer and let you know. You may not need to replce the part? Laughing
