exhaust gasket... *Fitted now*

Fitting a new copper exhaust header gasket to a GPZ500s. One side of the gasket is flat, the other side is convex, which one goes up against the manifold?

Any I have used before have been fibre washers which go in any way round.

I'm not 100% sure on a gpz, never seen one.
Most gaskets I have fitted that sound similar go on any way unless they have direction markings on a face. I usually go for flat to engine and never had a leak yet.

I put the flat side to the manifold. It has sealed OK.
