Ok, know this might sound a bit 'Max Power' idea but I'd like to tidy up my calipers with some Gold paint to match the look of the modern 600's.
Just wondering if anyone has done it and how to do it? They are black just now, not in a state but I'm planning a few mod's to get my bike looking sharper and more modern looking before I start looking to get more power! ____________________ Old bikes >>> https://www.bikepics.com/members/cc123/ |

We used to spray our GS1000/CB900/Z1000 calipers with Holts Gold wheel aerosol paint.
Worth an extra 5 bhp according to some |

Nah, red calipers are chavish Always makes me laugh when you get a 1.3 Nova pull up next to you with £500 worth of skinny profile wheels and tyres and red painted rear drums |

Yup. Im geting some drum brake / Calliper paint for my mini as the drums are rusty like fuck
Ill just rub them down a bit and im probably going to go for black or blue.
But halfords do calliper painting kits (i.e. paint, brush, laquer) or wateva you get.

Hey, Kawasaki use Gold calipers on the newer 6R's so it won't look cheap or Chav-ish!!!! ____________________ Old bikes >>> https://www.bikepics.com/members/cc123/ |
