Account invalid ?

Normaly post here under the name CBRnick. I dont post all the time but it wasnt more than a week or two since I last posted.

My account appears to have been disabled. Anyone shed any light as to why ? Im not aware of anything Ive done wrong that would warrant my account being terminated and Its not that long since I posted last so it wouldnt make sense for it to be disabled due to inactivity.

Is there a site admin that could mail me if there is an issue that I should be aware of please ?

Well my question has been moved but other than that Ive no response. I posted it in General for a reason, there may have been someone thats been offended that would respond to the post.
It made sense to me for it to be in that forum where most people will see it.

I didnt put it in feedback or suggestions because I didnt see it as either.
Can the mod that moved the post shed any light on the reason the account was disabled please ?

Just did a search. My last post was on the 27th of Feb, so the account cant have been considered inactive. Im still not aware of any rules Ive broken.

Anyone ?

Dropping Korn an email is the normal recommended route I believe.

Did you change your email address? If so you have to re-verify it, that's the usual cause of that message.

Hmmm.
No, I still use the same gmail account and its still a valid account. I used it twice over the weekend.

If you go to the CBRnick account on the user list and send it an email it appears in my gmail inbox in a matter of seconds so its definatly the email account listed for CBRnick.

I havent changed the password at all and Ive still got the original account activation email I recieved when the CBRnick account was created, which confirms Im using the correct username and password, including character case.

If I click the link on the email it tells me the account is already activated.

If I use the username and password, even cut and pasted right off the original conformation email I get the following message:

'You have specified an incorrect or inactive username, or an invalid password.'

Ive sent Korn screen caps of the emails and logon screens so he can see what Im seeing, but he says the account is listed as activated.
Anyone else got any ideas ?

You could always get Korn to delete that account completely then re-register as it? Did you have many posts under that name?

There is always that. Im not worried about post count and Karma doesnt affect me one way or another.

Nothing still.
If I try to reactivate my account from the email it still tells me my account is already activated. But when I try to log on it tells me the account is still disabled.

Can an admin try to reset the account?
Do I just give up and create another account with a similar name ?

Your account is active and has the correct email address attached to it, so you could only be getting the password wrong. Use the "I forgot my password" thingy to get a new one issued Thumbs Up
