Hi, I've just bought a Suzuki Bandit 600 it's on a Y Plate (2001) which is March - July 2001

What I'm trying to find out is, would this be the same as a 600K1

Looks basically the same bike but with the added difference that the GSF 600 S (K1 stands for 2001) has a half fairing for a more sportier/aerodynamic look which I presume that's why they have given it the code 'S' after 600.

The engine & frame no.'s will tell you exactly which year of bike it is, but you need to get hold of a Hayne's manual to look at model & year chart to find it. I'll try and see if there's any info out there on the net about it.
