I want a big nekkid muscle bike one day.
Not sure which though... this is an 'as well as the cbr' kinda thing, so I haven't looked too closely as I can't afford it at the moment. But I know I enjoyed Rob's speed triple and Keith's uber bandit very much. |

Obviously not got one.
What I aspire to is a big V-twin or triple (Triumph ). The exhaust note is amazing, and there is piles of widespread torque for easy lazy long distance riding.
Hundreds of horsepower? What for? I'm never going to be a hugely quick rider on a crotch rocket getting my kneedown all over the place, and the only place the high rpm horsepower really comes into use is on the racetrack.
Superbikes no, big lazy interesting bikes yes. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

I really, really want a K5 Gixxer 750........that bike rocks and looks the nutz...
Other than that, a ZX10R wouldn't go a miss. Will build up some NCB and Exp on my 600 first. ____________________ Old bikes >>> https://www.bikepics.com/members/cc123/ |

The old Gixxer's a bit tall for me, for it's weight.
Kev had an 1127 with NOS and even before he had the arse jacked up it was barely tiptoes for me, once he raised it's bum I was clear of the ground by about six inches.
Cool bikes though. |

I've had a 900cc and two 1000cc bikes. I'm happy with the 500cc I've got at the moment, and if/when I change it, it'll be for whatever the bike is like rather than the engine size. Saying that, most of the bikes I currently like are 650cc - FS650C, SV650, LS650P, W650. Might just get a bigbore kit for the Enfield - 612cc. ____________________ Current: CB500 Previous: CB100N, CB250RS, XJ900F, GT550, GPZ750R/1000RX, AJS M16, R100RT, Enfield Bullet

I had a TL1000R, it was a very nice bike to ride.
The one slight problem was it was a load of shit and the gearbox decided to commit suicide shortly after I bought it and ended up costing stupid money to get it fixed. I then never got to ride it once it had been fixed. Bargin.
Won't be getting another litre bike when I get my license back, sports 600 for me, R6 please. |

I've got a zx9 (dyond at 143 rwhp), too fast for my licence with fairings.
I shall see how it goes without, if I can ever arrange insurance . |

Hi
750ish and upwards I have an old FZ750 (actually a nice pleasant bike to ride, with good useable power), a Bimota YB10 and a 1200 Bandit.
The Bandit has been played with. 1216cc, skimmed and ported head, reprofiled cams, Akrapovic exhaust, lid chopped off the airbox and a K&N filter, Dynojet stage 3 kit, Barnett clutch (friction plates, steel plates and springs, standard clutch could not take the power) and a larger oil cooler.
That has resulted in 153hp at the rear wheel, and loads of torque. With the road baffle out and in warm weather it is a total pussy cat to ride (it is a bit lean from 2500 to 5000, which is apparent in the current cold weather, and it is a bit of a pain at the moment).
It cost me a bit more than I really wanted to spend, so I will hold off doing any more on it for a bit. But a replacement ignition system and some flat slide carbs are possibles for the future. I was trying to keep it looking fairly standard, but the carbs would be a total giveaway (although they will probably give me an extra 5~10hp). But then if I give up keeping it looking standard I can fit these.
This is the Bandit that Bendy has ridden.
I also get occasional temptations to get another cheap FZ750 and fit an FZR1000EXUP engine to it. Would make an interesting bike, bit of a sleeper. Mind you I know someone with a turbo engine for one that they might be persuaded to part with.
All the best

I've currently got a ZX-9 and have owned a ZXR750. Both big bore sportsbikes and pretty quick for the road. Unfortunately smaller cc bikes rarely have the required room for me.
I like the look of Bandits, Buells etc but naked bikes don't really do it for me. Although now my licence has been truly dumped on by the courts <*hack-spit* > I have no choice but to opt for a smaller insurance group bike....
So naked bikes practical, yes. Sexy? Nope ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

I like 1000cc plus bikes for the torque. Easy riding and good 6th gear roll-ons. Hate having to jump all over a gear box. Presently got a Blackbird (EFI) perviously a GPZ1100.
The Bird may as well be an automatic. It will pull from standstill in 6th but when you hit 7000rpm it accelerates faster than anything I've ever been on. 100mph first gear wheelies |

I'm riding a TL1000(oh my god! stop shaking your head)R
Had a GSXR750 for a while and a FZR1000 a couple of years back.
Was gonna trade in the TL for the new KTM950supermoto but can't get one. Might try importing one myself as they are only bringing 200 into the country |

I have a Triumph Daytona 955i- and it ROCKS!
You can't beat a big bore bike for just opening the throttle and it shoving you forward. Doesn't matter what gear or speed you just go.
Its cool.
