Think that that bike design is going from a Mach 3 turbo to a cut throat razor!

Some bikes carry the new angular design well but IMO some don't. i sight the bandit old against new semi fairing design!

I agree. I like the angular (newer) SV650S, but not as keen on the older models, even though I'll be getting one soon! Embarassed

I agree that Jap bikes look nice but not beautiful like Italian bikes anymore, and also, when you see an 04/05 bike OTR it looks a bit over the top really.

I love the new looks of bikes.
I like the high skinny back ends that are high from the back wheel real menacing looking bikes!
I also like bulky faired bikes like the thundercat.........lol biased (well for a 600 it is).

I still like the Hornet's bulky look though.

I really like the look of the new Z1000 with an extra belly pan to finish off the lines it looks hard and menacing but still has a nice smooth edge where it counts Thumbs Up

I'm surprised that form over function hasn't taken its natural course and they've come up with angular tyres Wink

I agree. A lot of them are just getting too angular and look like overkill. A high pointy arse is okay when the exhausts are well designed to flow with the shape, but some have a pointy bum with a big fat can sticking out of it like an afterthought, and that just looks dumb.

I like curves I'm afraid.

the z1000 is nice. i still dont like half fairing. i like the zx6r, the zx12r is an overkill. its too powerfull and IMO looks stupid and fat (no offence to any zx12r owners)

I know they are pretty hopeless when it comes to pedestrian survivability, but making them even more pointy really can't help much, surely? Mind you, frontal impacts on pedestrians can't really be very common, I should think that there would be more slides into them.
