Road legal trail bikes (DTR, XLR etc) with electric start?

Hello,

In my continuing quest to find out what 125 bike would be best for me I am now looking at the road legal trail bike type, things like the Honda XL / XLR, Yamaha DT-R . The main problem I currently suffer from is clutch control, I'm quite adept at the odd stall Sad with this in mind it's best that I have an electric start bike to avoid nasty problems at junctions & traffic lights.

Can anyone list or verify which ones have an electric start?

125's are piss easy to kick start, so i wouldn't worry about not having a electric boot.

well that maybe the case but i've never tried one and don't have the opportunity really. In my CBT I stalled plenty on the SR and much less on the CG, never dropped it but if it wasn't for the electric start I'd have been in major trouble. I really think I would prefer it for my 1st bike, when I have experience with bikes maybe I won't care so much.

Sound to me as if you need a bit more training experience before you get out on to the road. If your having probs, I'd say go get a few more hours training under your belt, then you can pick any of the 125 trailies to play on with out worrying about whether it has a kickstart or not.
