I've added to the list of manuals that I've already posted links for the CB350 F's Shop Manual and parts list for you to download and it fully describes the kickstart mechanism and how to inspect it.

Another problem I can possible relate to, I'm getting good at this .
Something simular happened to me before, It turned out the kickstart had got itself into a little tangle and I think in the end needed a new pinion & something else which the name has pasted over me.
I highly doubt it would have seized as the engine wouldn't have been running (or you wouldn't have been kickstarting it...)
Taking the engine casing off should reveal all, Unfortunalty I wasn't in the position to take mine off at the time and ended up paying £80.
£20 for collection, £20 for delivery (I didn't even have my licence at the time lol) £40 for 1hr labour £20 for parts. |

Is it possible that it could have drained a load of petrol into the cylinder and hence into the crankcase causing a hydraulic lock? There was another post about this earlier, check the oil level to see if it's high, and if it is, upon dumping the oil, a load of petrol will come out.
