Idle's rough as a dog!

Doesn't even sound like a bike no more once it gets moving. Nice vid but still don't see the point sticking a turbo onto a bike? Confused

^^^ Bikes and Busa's are fast enough. Didn't wheelie in every gear like must turbo'd bikes I've seen. I'd prefer mines to be quick everywhere, not just in a straight line and certainly not lifting the front wheel everytime the turbo kicked in....

Fast enough for you yes, maybe someone wants one thats faster.

I suspect it idles roughly due to a set of aftermarket cams being put in which compromises a nice sounding tickover for some power.

I'd love a bike like that if i lived in a place where the roads were that straight.

WHooah cowboy, you missed my point.

IF i lived in a place like that full of straight roads, then i'd love a bike like that!!

I much prefer corners than straight line speed, i was just stating that that rode is well suited to that bike....

yep looks like a 60inch wheelbase also with a turbo like that I would immagine the compression ratio would be dropped by about 15% which would be fine while the bike was making boost but while idling the compression would be borderline for a consistent idle, making a richer mixture ratio compulsory for tickover, that combined with the retarded ignition down low, massive profile cams, no actual airbox as such (being replaced with an intake plenum chamber and all) would make things quite interesting when it came time to pull away from a stop, great job at getting the bike tuned to that extent I think, from what I have seen from a turbo Ducati 900ss I am very impressed to see how the busa goes in that video Thumbs Up
