Hi Guy's,

Paul Smeeton's Bitz4Bikez is advertising oversized piston kits. I think my bike is due a new piston anyway, was just wondering if I would have to modify the bike in any way to fit the O/S piston (2.00 I think)?

Another problem I have with the bike is, in 1st and 2nd gear, when I pull the throttle back, it reaches 5k revs, sputters for a bit without any accelleration, then the powervalve kicks in and flies like stink. Could anyone advise what might be the cause of this?

Thanks

I dont have a clue if its been rebored or not because its a jap import full power model. If it isnt, how much do you reckon it would sting me to have it rebored?

The spluttering could be caused by:

Arrow wrong mixture settings, (wrong needle position, leaking float chamber, clogged air filter)

Arrow Powervalve not set up properly

Arrow Anything else out of the ordinary

Apparently the spluttering could just be a flat spot from the guys in chat.

Another thing I noticed is a funny grinding noise when I'm in 4th gear. Any ideas?
