Try asking here

Otherwise you'll have to be a bit more specific about what you want to know, plenty people here own one...

no luck on bikez.com but the MSN group looks promising ( if the moderator decides that I can join)
one of the things I need to know is:

Do they all have the Keihin flat slide carbs or is it only the SP model

Mine has the flat slides , full Scorpion exhaust , K&N filter and goes rock hard but a bit sluggish in picking up the revs down low so I really sound like a complete hooligan taking of every set of lights cause I have to keep the revs up and work the clutch more

Could be wrong but you could need a simple air filter clean, jet adjusting/setup (k&n filter needs a full set up really, which is why my mate hasn't bothered fiting his) you could have an air leak... even the choke could be stuck on slightly!

Unless you did have a full rejet (the kit is about £200 Shocked) i'd try the original kawasaki filter and see if that fixes things, check for an air leak by spraying wd40 on any joins - revs rise = air leak.

Whiping the plugs out and haveing a look will give you an idea of if its runing lean/rich and might offer more clues...

Good luck geting it sorted Thumbs Up

that kinda explains things - just fitted a brand new K&N filter when I had new cam chain and tensioner fitted - plus all the other service stuff - so will probably just let the guys in the dyno shop tune it properly and pay whatever it costs - would be nice to know what power it puts out after all.
Anyone know if a factory racing kit wiring loom for the SP model would improve anything.

Yes only the SP models had Flat Slides but a lot of them were sold on ebay etc and installed in other models.

Its my understanding that you need to regulate your throttle movement and match it to the revs very closely to get flat slides to run properly, so perhaps you just have the throttle to far open for too low revs?
