After realising that I was never likely to get red G2 panels, I've decided to get a new set and keep the old cracked ones as a track set. The new set is in the process of being bought (https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7954355510&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT & https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7951219387&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT) and I've decided to get it resprayed as the parts don't match. I still need to get a new fuel tank, r&l side fairings and a new mudguard but will get those as they come about.

The main question I have for you all is...how much are custom paint jobs? Do they make a huge difference to the sale of the bike? What styles are recommended - race rep, own colours (I'd only have a subtle scheme - black with silver or something like that)? Will the first thing someone thinks when they look at it be "they've crashed that"?

Cheers

In all second hand bike buying guides it says to be warey of flashy paint jobs as it may hide a crash. As you can see it may well bare some truth!

As long as you don't try and hide the fact there's no problem.

Found some graphics and as I like black was thinking about the HMPlant scheme. Or Telefornica - like that one too.

Only thing is, I have a kawasaki and the schemes I like are for Hondas. Is it wrong to have a different manufacturers schemes on a bike....I just don't like Kawasaki green.

Edit: Like West graphics too...again Honda
