Heres a 10 minute video showing a BMW R1150GS embarrassing a lot of other riders along abeautiful, smooth mountain road.

Really is a great video and road. Thumbs Up

That guy did quite a few vids of various bits of the island. Haven't got a link off hand but they should be on ukgser.com somewhere.

Well, he's a bloody good rider and I'm surprised a gs can move that quickly.

In my mind, they're still furkin ugly though. And no, looks alone don't buy a bike but surely to god, you've got to find it a bit attractive to buy one. Embarassed

Thinking that as well. Looks like a Gullarm to me Cool

Rear lights and high rev limit give it away.

I'll await someone to prove me wrong. Very Happy

Nope Cbr400 Gullarm. Crazy rider guy even confirms it. Mr. Green

Paul Young, https://www.ukgser.com wrote:

The guy on the CBR400 at Ramsey hairpin (the start of the Mountain) was the owner of the camcorder we were using & he would be the first to admit that he is very much a novice rider. Lines & flowing speed were not things he understood, but he wanted some film of himself - I don't think that running into the back of a truck or crap lines were in his plans though.

Those RSV & 916 riders must've been bewildered when that GS came thumping past!!!! Good video, but I think the best video I've got of a lap of the TT is on board Steve Hislop's factory RVF on a 122mph lap Shocked The Mountain just disappears in a flash!!

Love the power delivery.

Funny watching the bike in front screaming and constantly dropping gears while the BMW just keeps up so smoothly. Very cool.
