When was last time idle/pilot jet adjusted?
Suspect if set during a service when engine hot it may be a little too lean for when cold, especially with the cold snap we're in.
Will not be carb icing if, as you say, bike is at idle. Carb icing would be when you're going along and bike stutters like it's running out of fuel. Actually stopping and idling the bike will cure carb icing (until you start going again and it reoccurs obviously).
If bike stuttering like this it could be coils? Not enough voltage to work correctly then when warm and high revs enough to be sorted?
Would expect other symptoms with this though.
Just some thoughts, maybe not even in the right ballpark.
