Hello all,
Is the chain guard required to get an MOT? Mine fell off quite a while ago and the MOT is soon up. i cant get the bugger to go back on as all the bolts have sheered off when i removed the guard to fit new chain and sprockets.
Cheers

Yes, a definate requirement but some custom bikes have ultra minimalist ones which frankly take the piss. I think as long as there is something vaguely resembling a chain guard, you should be OK

i was told different when i got my bike mot done. The mot tester saw it was missing and said that it would not fail the mot on the fact it had no chain guard but i could get pulled for it.
