my only times ridding have been four or five rides on a small two stroke as a kid i have a daily driver car but am looking for a bike to use three times or so a week and on the weekends to go to school and work mostly i really love two strokes more than anything but am open-minded to go 4 stroke now i have my eye on a aprile rs 250 just because its the only two stroke i know about that appears to be street legal i am also looking into a honda cbr600 or a suzuki gxr 600 keep in mind this will be my first bike

questions
1 are there other 2 stroke street legal bikes i can use in the states and is a 2 stroke 250 going to be about the same size as a honda 600
2 what would be an ideal street bike for a starter under $9000

by the way dont worry i know buying a new bike to learn on is risky so since i live in an area with lots of open low traffic back roads i will practics for a couple of months before takeing out the bike into daily traffic

No idea about US 2 stroke legalities or prices, but I can tell you that your average 2 stroke 250 will be a fair bit smaller than a sports 600.
