Anybody have any experience with these?
I'm sceptical as to the majority of the claims bandied about (usually by the same sort who thinks glowing spark plug caps give ~10BHP extra, it seems) but some of it makes sense. Giving more torque in the lower end of the rev range for example. Thinking of picking up a 4 degree advance for the 1100 and not found much info around really.

Feedback?

Hi

Most Japanese bikes are designed to run on a fairly low octane fuel (eg, my FZR600 is designed to run on 91 RON fuel, where even normal unleaded in the UK is 95 RON). Thus you have some room to gain more power by advancing the ignition timing.

All the best

Keith

I've got 3,4, and 5 advancers and to be honest all they do is move power around on the 750 and 1100 and make starting easier with a better mid but you do loose a little on the top.

Sounds worth it then, I rarely run much above 7 or 8k.

Thanks Very Happy
