Buy a bigger bike...
Not certain about the flooding so I won't try just in case you blow up. Only joking, you shouldn't blow up really...
Never run on reserve unless you have no petrol and need to get to a petrol station. If you do you start to splutter and find out that you have absolutely no juice left. Happened to me once, but was blessed to be right outside a petrol station! Don't run on off either, because you won't exactly get much performance out of it, if you know what I mean. I hope this might help |

For a flooded engine. Either :
Leave it to sit whilst you have a cup of tea and a smoke then go try again.
or
Switch the fuel off, switch the choke off. Hold the throttle wide open and repeatedly kick it over. Snap the throttle closed when it fires up or it will rev its knackers off.
If you have some tools, take the sparkplug out, dry it off and clean it. Replace and try again. Repeat until starts.
Fuel tap to 'on' (down) for normal use, 'off' (forwards) when it is parked and 'reserve' (backwards) when you run out. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
