Ok, My scooter was running lean over the last few days as I bought a new K&N filter as the old one was all cloging up. Now as the new one had bigger holes which wernt cloged up, it was running lean. It is running fine now (coffee brown plug) BUT when the bike warms up, sometimes the throttle gets really stif and heavy to pull. But when the bike cools down, It is easy again.

Any ideas?

Weird about the warm/cool, but have you lubed the cable ends / throttle assembly recently? Might be worth a try, I just use some white grease.

Check the throttle cable isn't touching the engine. I once had a throttle cable melt on the cylinder head which caused it to stick doing 85mph at 3/4 throttle on a bike with no kill switch, an unreachable key and drum brakes. Not recommended!

^^^ Laughing Laughing Laughing LOL @ Stinkwheel!

Ill have a look tomorrow as my chrome tarty bits should be here by then for my mini Mr. Green

But yea, when ive done a mile or so, the throttle gets real heavy to pull, and when I first start it up, The throttle is normal.

bah I dont know. Ill check its not touchin the cylinder. ill grease it up and thatl be enough. When I sell it the buyer will be atleast a mile away from my house before the wheels fall off and the throttle jams up so Im safe Laughing
