can anyone help im looking for a barrel and piston and just wondered if you had any hiding in a wardrobe or somewhere similar
i had it on the road now for 3 months and it keeps going wrong Brick Wall im hoping someone has one for sale as its got to go so i can get a small portion of what i hav spent back

Ive never had one, i was told not to when i was looking for one before.

However it might be better to go to a bike shop and see how much the standard yamaha one is, as ive bin told the pattern ones are not as good as standard parts.

You are 100% better off going for an official Yamaha kit. BUT dam_buster was looking for a new 50cc barrel (yes, JUST the barrel) for his suzuki katana and it was going to cost £90 for just the barrel. He got a full 70cc Malossi Top end for £120 Thumbs Up

Smoto_bob is probably the best person to talk to about it Razz

Ive found a price for a new one and it works out at just over 400 for just the barrel Thinking

As far as I am aware, a pattern piston is no problem, but critical parts like the rings should be OE parts as they do tend to be better.

I have been looking through my spares and have found a barrel Very Happy but it is scored Brick Wall does anyone know how big it can be rebored to Thinking it is standard size at the moment any help very grateful Very Happy
