i heard prices from £30 for theory and £11 for practical up to £80 for both Shocked

The theory is £30 and the practical is £50, done mine about 6 months ago in chiswick.

Although u'll almost definately need some training probably 2 days or u wont pass and would be shelling out another £50 days training is expensive though if u just do one be sure 2 find out what ull have 2 do on ure practical and the proccedures for manuevers ie u turn,left turn, right turn etc

The theory is actually £20.50. Smile

Why you gonna do the A1 for, just out of interest I believe it will be the same cost to do the A2 test. Confused

www.dsa.gov.uk has all details you'll be wanting, it's much easier to check rather than playing chinese wispers.
