Right i have my big bore fitted on my ts 50 x, its a 70 cc bore i have on there now, it feels as its getting rather too hot!
When i went down to the local bike dealer he said its actually a hotter one than i should have in there, could this explain why its stupidly hot?

Any replys are much appreciated, thanks all!

Not sure what you're on about and i'm not sure you know what you're on about.

Sounds like your dealer is talking about your spark plug and he thinks its the wrong heat range. Not a major problem, but you could do with running the std one or one that is close to std.

I would whip the spark plug out and check the colour of it. AKA plug chop. That will give you an idea of the jetting. I would think it's running slightly lean with the bigger bore kit on it. I assume its a 65, so thats a 30% increase in capacity. From a quick look on the net jetting changes ARE needed fro 250-280 conversions and they're only 12% increase.

Arrow Get the correct plug.
Arrow Check the one you remove to see what the jetting is like.See here
