well sold my zxr 400 the other day,on the way to dropping it off i got a rear flatty from a stone wedged into it,manage to get a part worn tyre at knock down so my buyer was happy.......well

picked up my new cbr6 friday, then didnt ride it all due to the weather, sparked her up this morning and got to my friends house, went to leave and noticed a damn nail in the rear tyre, managed to get the bike home so now im going to have to source a new or part worn tyre and then have it fitted etc.more expense, could get it plugged i guess but best off with a new tyre to be honest,my lucks not good at the moment!

two tyres needed in less than a week!

anybody got a part worn 160/60/17? lol

If it's in the centre of the tread it will plug ok. If it's too close to the edge they probably won't plug it and even if they would I wouldn't want to ride it. Most people say that riding on a plugged tyre screws your head up a bit. Always wondering if it's gonna hold up when your pushing it a bit.

Well I had two punctures in two weeks, one the rear and one in the FRONT. Boy was I pissed off and worse of all both tyres were brand new.

Many years ago I bought a CB250RS, used it for work for the first time and got a puncture within 30 minutes, a nail went into THE SIDE WALL
so I had to buy a brand new tyre. Crazy since I had only had the bike two days and I didn't get any work done till 11:30.
