Ah cool. Well, I'm in Oxford and could probably do with meeting someone en route as I don't have a clue about either area really.

To get to the Tea Room. Continue on the M40 until you get to the M25 and head south Towards Staines/Egham and Heathrow.

When your on the M25 the junction numbers should go down until 13. Get off at 13. Get to the roundabout and then go straight across to get back onto the M25. On the sliproad there is a spilt, go towards the left heading towards A30. Then at the 2nd roundabout go straight across to a country looking road, not the daul carriageway.

Along that road there are some pillars marking the tea room on each side of the road. Remember! Turn off BEFORE the pillars to the left.

Sounds straightforward enought, although after an hour on the bike I'll have forgotten it all. What's there anyway (I guess a cafe of somesort)? Is it a popular bike haunt?

It was only discovered like 2 weeks ago. Has a large car park and a cafe. Although the cafe is expensive (90 for a small cup of tea) it would be used to meet in a car park and normally it is not a biking meeting place.

Just a note for future times; if you can get to Reading I can show you an ok route to Boxhill Silver.

If I was feeling really adventurous/rich then I might even go up to Oxford first, then ride back down to Reading; some relatively ok roads between the two.
Dunno if I could handle the petroil bill for the rs though Smile.

Sounds good - I don't mind riding to Reading first Thumbs Up
