What bikes can I ride on a full car licence?

Ok, Ive heared lots of stories about what bikes I can ride once I pass my test.

I was told a while ago I can ride anything up to a 125cc on L plates.

I was then told that I can ride any 50cc without L plates or a 125 on L plates.

BUT then I heared that this only applies if I passed my test before Janurary 2001.

Now I went out with a mate yesterday who is taking his restricted access soon and he recons his boss said that on a full car licence you can ride anything up to 33bhp on L plates

Now I doubt that I can ride a 33bhp on a car licence but just out of interest. What can I ride and under what circumstances?

i think you can ride a 50cc without L plates
and thats it
It still acts as a provisional so u can ride 125cc on Ls

As you've only just got your car licence you can not ride bikes with it; it's a car licence only now .

33hp is a full bike licence, so no way you'd ever have been able to blag that.

i've been asking this,

i passed after the date tho so i do have my licence, i'm guessing i need to do the CBT and thats it? i'm ok to ride?

Ive got my Provisonal. I think that if you take your provisional and then pass your car licence within 2 years your provisional then lasts aslong as your car licence.
Because usually provisional is only a 2 year thing right?

I believe all provisionals last 50 years or whatever now (look on your licence).

It's the CBT certificate that runs out. In the pass this wasn't required, it is now.

provisionals last i think

but the theory test has to be re taken if you dont pass within a certain lenght of time (2 years i believe)
