Flashing brake lights

Just been looking around for some aux led lights to add to the bike as brake lights.

Seen from some US sites there's gadgets to flash these for 5 secs before going steady - like these, click here

Now I like the idea of these to wake up dozy commuters and school run mums but the question is, are they legal in the UK?

Bear in mind this will be on a second brake light (think like the hi-level one in cars).

I wouldn't have it as a second light as if there is a copper behind you and one brakelight flashes and the other dousn't he may pull you.

Not sure of the legality of them but you can get them in this country.

Yea I saw the front flashers or trail blazers, but personally wouldn't try them. There are just too many Numptys that would think you are flashing them out of junctions. Shocked

As for Nippy Normans I have had first class service from him, and one thing arrived 2 days after I ordered it, impresively quick.
